Hello, I am Madhura and welcome to MadhurasRecipe Marathi Let’s see how to make 4 types bread rolls today. We are shallow frying it & not deep frying. Don’t feel guilty that we are deep frying. We are making these specially for kids’ tiffin. First is potato. Boiled & mashed potato. Add 1/2 tsp red chili powder, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1/4 tsp chat masala, 1/4 cup finely chopped onion. You can add veggies according to your taste. 1/4 cup finely chopped spring onion, salt to taste. Mix well. Stuffing is ready. Keep it aside. Take bread slices. I am using sandwich bread. Cut the edges off. After removing edges roll the slices. Press it a little so that the stuffing will be well sealed. After rolling take stuffing & make a roll. So that it sticks well to the bread. Spread water to edges so that we can seal the bread properly. Roll it. Perfect. It’s okay if you don’t seal the edges as we are shallow frying these rolls & not deep frying. Bread rolls have been stuffed. Let’s roast these. Spread some butter on all sides of each roll. Put the buttered side on the pan. Roast the rolls on pan until these turn crispy. You can shallow fry if you want. You also can use ghee, oil instead of butter. Roast each side until nice & crispy. I have roasted bread rolls well from all sides. These are nice and crispy. These have got nice crisp too. Take the bread rolls off the skillet. You can keep the bread whole as it is. But I cut it into pieces. Take the tiffin. Transfer them into tiffin. You can spread ketchup, chutney for serving. Or these taste nice as it is as we already have added spices. Next is cream cheese sandwich. I have taken cheese spread. You can easily get it in the market. If you don’t want to use cheese spread Then you can use curd. You can put dahi in a cloth, drain the water and use it. You can use panner. Drain paneer completely, mash it a little & use it. You also can use mayonnaise. Let’s add veggies. I am making 3 bread rolls. I have taken 3 tsbp cream cheese for 3 breads. Add 2 tbsp red, yellow & red capsicum. You can add veggies according to your chioce & availability. Add spices. Red chili flakes for pungent taste, 1/4 tsp mixed herbs. If you don’t have mixed herbs then you can use herbs that come with your ordered pizza. Crushed black pepper & garlic powder. As I told this is homemade garlic powder. You can use fresh minced garlic for flavor if you don’t have garlic powder. Mix well. It is perfectly mixed. Take bread slice. As I alredy told, cut the edges off and roll these slices with rolling pin. Fill the stuffing in it. You can decide the quantity. You can spread it. Looking so nice. Roll it. No need to roast this sandwich ss it tastes awesome as it is. If you don’t want to use bread Then you can use chapati, tortilla. You can stuff the mixture in it and make rolls like this. These taste really yummy. Lot many veggies can be added in this roll. Not much efforts are required. Roll it again. Cut this too at the center. As I already told, you don’t have to fry these rolls at all. These taste good as it is. You can cool them in freeze and have thses. How nice & colorful these are!! Transfer them into tiffin. You can garnish them with black olive if you want or a drop of tomato sauce. Next roll is easy and simple jam roll. We will add a little more healthy factor in jam roll. I have taken strawberry jam. You can use any jam. To add a little healthy factor I am adding finely chopped dry nuts in jam. Mostly it happens so that we get up late or what to do or we are not in mood of making anything. Then in such caese you can pack this jam roll. After mixing dry nuts well then take bread slice, Whose edges are cut off & rolled with rolling pin. Spread jam on it. Cover it another slice. While placeing this slice leave some gap & place it. Spread jam on this slice too. If the jam is too thick or just taken out of freeze then you can microwave for just 20-30 seconds. Or you can heat it up in a pan. Again leave some gap & place 3rd bread slice. Spred jam on it. I have stuffed 3 breadslices leaving some gap. Like so. Now roll them. Make nice & tight roll. Press roll well from all sides. It turns out exactly as swiss roll. You can sprinkle desiccated coconut if you want. Divide it into 3 portions. Like so. Perfect. Let’s make next roll. Heat up 1 tbsp oil in a pan. We want to do a little cooking in this. Add finely chopped onion, boiled corns, finely chopped carrot, Fry it well for about 2-3 minutes. After frying the veggies well add 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, Add red chili powder. You can add garam masala, green chili if you want according to your taste. Add ginger-garlic paste & spring onion. Mix well & fry for about a minute. It is fried well for about a minute. Add salt to taste & mix well. Break an egg in this. Basically we are making bhurji. You can say vegetable bhurji. If you don’t have egg then add paneer. You can mash paneer a little and add. Add egg, scramble it quickly. Mix well. Do not make it too dry. Cook for just a minute or two. This scrambled or bhurji should be a little juicy. Turn off the gas. Stuffing is ready. Again remove the edges of bread and roll it with rolling pin. Add this bhurji at the center. This roll also tastes really good. Spread water on the edges of bread. Let’s roll it. Spread butter on roll and shallow fry it on the pan as we roasted aloo roll. After frying this roll our all 4 rolls are ready. Aloo roll, egg roll, cream cheese roll & jam roll. Do try these rolls. Do let me know in the comment box below that which is your favorite roll.
