Hello Youtubers. Let me introduce you today to my recipe
of garlic shrimp. If you like it please Let me know through
comments. Here are the ingredients I use:
– A pound [450 grams] of deveined shrimp. It tastes better if the shell still on, but
peeled ones is ok – Cumin Salt and paprika, one teaspoon of
each plus 2 teaspoons of red pepper flakes – 5 garlic cloves
– 3 tablespoons of olive oil – 1 tablespoon of high-quality butter. Believe me it makes a difference
– One and a half lemon – About 60 grams=2 ounces of freshly chopped
parsley. Let’s start washing the shrimp thoroughly. I aint gonna heat the oil alone in the pan,
otherwise it becomes toxic, nor the garlic as it loses its value. Rather, I pour the oil in a cup, add the spices
and the garlic to it, then juice the lemon, stir them very well, then pour them on the
shrimp. Mix it all well, so all the shrimp covered,
and leave it aside for 15 minutes. I preheated the pan on the highest heat, Now
I add the shrimp in. This way the oil won’t reach its smoke point. The smoke you are seeing now is just extra
water vaporizing. Now even the shrimp out, and leave it for
3 minutes. Now, decrease the heat to a medium level,
and then flip the shrimp to its other side, and leave it for 1 minute. Now add the butter in, and keep stirring for
1 minute. Till the shrimp looks just like that, which
means its done. Only now we add the parsley, and stir it quickly
for 15 to 20 seconds. Don’t leave the parsley more than 30 seconds
max in the pan. We want its taste and vitamins. That’s it. Present it beside our dish of Hummus for an
