1 teaspoon instant dry yeast 2 tablespoons sugar 1/2 cup (125ml) warm milk 1 large egg, whisked 2 cups (250g) all purpose flour I’m using bigger bowl for easy stirring 3 tablespoons soft unsalted butter 3/4 teaspoons salt, 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder, 2 tablespoons chopped scallions/parsley Stir using strong spoon/Kitchen Aid/mixer with dough hook After 5 minutes stirring, the dough should be very soft Cover for 90 minutes The dough will be soft & sticky On floured work surface Form a ball Flatten & roll out into a rough rectangle Roll into a log Flatten again Roll out again into rectangle Cheese (the filling is optional) Red bell pepper (paprika) Ham More cheese Roll into a loaf Put into greased loaf pan, cover for 30 minutes or more Egg wash Make slash on top Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30 minutes The cheese may bursting and cause broken on top Golden brown at all sides Very soft & delicious!
