Been involved in 7 Families, I know it’s going to be a massive benefit to us, to me and the family in all aspects. I’m quite excited about it because I think it’s going to make a big difference not just support-wise but financially because as a result of me having to leave my job I lost my wage. One of the big things for Melanie was losing the financial independence of having a I wouldn’t say her own money because we’re them families that have our separate bank accounts You know, we both know how much each other’s got to a degree we share the bills, and all of a sudden at the end of one month, Melanie wasn’t getting paid. I think that affected you quite a lot didn’t it? That was my worst. to be honest with you, that was the worst part for me. Not just my career being lost was difficult enough but then I’d always been fiercely independent My financial obligations, I paid them. You know, I never questioned that. Then all of a sudden that’s taken away from you. There was no other option but to leave so that was hard because I still had a loan to pay, a credit card to pay and I think that’s the scariest aspect. You know, apart from the fact that your health has spiralled out of control, all of a sudden you haven’t got the financial means to pay off things and it preys on your mind. It’ll be interesting to see what the next 12 months bring so I’m open minded to what comes next. You’ve knocked pole dancing on the head though haven’t you? Yeah… Good lad!
