Welcome to a new video… …today I’ll show you how easy it is to prepare breaded pork schnitzels in the oven… …I have 4 pork cutlets out of the top side here… …wrap each schnitzel first between 2 layers of cling film… …& then tenderize them with a meat tenderizer, plating iron or a small pot or pan… …next prepare a breading line… …that means 3 bowls or plates… …one with 50 – 75 grams of flour… …then another with whisked egg… …seasoned with a pinch of salt and pepper… …& a last bowl with about 100 grams of breadcrumbs… …we will season the breadcrumbs with 1 heaping teaspoon of paprika powder… …that’s not only for the taste but also gives the schnitzels a really nice color… …and when that’s done we can start to coat the meat with braedcrumbs… …turn in flour first… …tap off the excess flour… …then pull through the whisked egg… …let the egg drain a bit… …& finally turn a few times in the spiced breadcrumbs… …until the schnitzel is coated with breadcrumbs all around… …repeat that for the remaining schnitzels… …then place them next to each other on a baking sheet lined with baking paper… …& finally we just have to sprinkle the schnitzels with a good dash of oil… …then bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for approx. 15 – 20 minutes… …until the schnitzels are golden brown and crispy… …while the schnitzels are in the oven we take care of the side dish… …I chose to make a quick cucumber salad… …slice a cucumber into thin slices… …then pick off dill tips from 5 – 6 sprigs, finely chop & add to the cucumber slices… …also add 1 clove crushed garlic… …a cup of sour cream… …a dash of olive oil… …a dash of white wine vinegar… …finally season with a good pinch of salt & pepper… …then stir together… …until everything is well combined… …and then we are done with it… …get the finished schnitzels out of the oven now… …that’s what they look like… …a golden brown color, wonderfully crispy & the breadcrumbs slightly wavy… …dish them up on plates immediately… …serve with a portion of cucumber salad and lemon wedges… …I hope you liked the video… …I wish you a good appetite… …have fun cooking & see you next video!
