We’re Adam and Joanne from inspiredtaste.net
welcome to our kitchen. Hi guys today we are showing you how to bake
salmon. This is one of my favorite recipes and it
comes straight out of my Mom’s kitchen. She made this a lot when I was growing up
and she still makes it to this day. It is so easy from sockeye to king salmon
— either work — from fatty to lean. You can’t mess it up. It’s really good so let’s show you how
to make it. Let’s go do it. This one comes together fast. Start with fresh lemon, just slice it into
thin slices. Grab some fresh herbs — we love dill — and
make a bed in the bottom of a baking dish large enough to fit your salmon. Then arrange the lemon slices on top. Now depending on the size of your fillet,
you might need to cut it in half so that it fits into the dish. Then just season the salmon simply — just
olive oil, salt and pepper on both sides. If you wanted to, you can also add some of
your favorite seafood seasoning. Lay the salmon on top of the bed of lemon
and herbs then pour in some liquid — you can use stock, wine or even water. Cover the dish with foil then slide into the
oven and bake until the salmon is just cooked in the middle. We check around 10 minutes then go from there
— keep in mind that a thicker piece of salmon will take longer than a thinner one. When it’s done take the salmon out and let
it sit for about 5 minutes. Then scatter more fresh herbs on top. Enjoy! Thanks for watching. If you loved this video, we have lots more. Make sure you Subscribe to our YouTube Channel
